Portugal : new measures to improve Algarve’s economy

 


Portuguese parliament has approved measures aimed at the Algarve’s economy.

The approved measures include shortening the guarantee period for obtaining unemployment benefits and providing companies with a more favorable tax system for a three-year transition period. 


 

A draft PSD resolution was approved last Friday, which includes an economic and social response plan for the Algarve, aimed at alleviating the negative impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the region.
