Milan: La Scala opening season postponed

 

Due to COVID-19, the La Scala Philharmonic has postponed the opening of the 2020/2021 season from December 14 to February. 

 


This decision was made after the La Scala premiere was cancelled on December 7. 

 

The decision was made at a board meeting, when Maurizio Beretta, President of the Unicredit Bank Italia Foundation and Head of Institutional and Cultural Affairs of the Italian Banking Group, was appointed to the La Scala Board of Directors Chairman.
