In order to “bring unprecedented joy to locals, encourage them to complete Christmas shopping early this year and support local businesses”, Vila Real de Santo António decided to light up the entire town with Christmas lights.

The festivelighting are located along the main Teófilo Braga and 5 de Outubro roads of VRSA and the Praça Marquês de Pombal road.

Monte Gordo and Vila Nova de Cacela will also light up Christmas lights along Rua PedroÁlvares Cabral and Avenida Manuel G. Rosa Mendes, respectively.

Christmas decorations and lights will also be placed at the EN125 roundabout.
