Greece starts officially the vaccination against COVID-19

According to official reports: On Sunday, December 27, 2020, Greece and the entire European Union received the first coronavirus vaccine. 

 


A new and brighter chapter gradually begins, bringing a glimmer of hope to all those suffering from this terrible situation. Vaccination against COVID-19 started in Evangelismos, Sotiria, Attikon, Thriasio and Asklipiio Voulas hospitals in the Attica region. 

 

Symbolically, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, President of the Hellenic Republic, was vaccinated immediately after Gampisiouli and Giovanidis. 

 


After being vaccinated, President Sakellaropoulou told the reporters that EU has proved that its solidarity by trying to distribute these vaccines in Europe.
