Italy: 2020 box office falls 93%

 

The sales counter Cinetel said on Wednesday that movie box office revenues in Italy have fallen by 93% since the COVID-19 closure began in March. 

 


According to Cinetel it dropped by 460 million. Total revenue this year exceeded 182.5 million euros.



About 28 million tickets were sold. A year-on-year decrease of 71.3%. The amount of activity throughout the year dropped by more than 71%.
