Greece: Kindergartens and elementary schools to reopen on Monday

The Ministry of Education approved the recommendations of the Ministry of Health’s Coronavirus Expert Committee on Monday evening to reopen kindergartens and elementary schools in Greece on Monday, January 11, and also decided that grades 7-12 will restart e-courses on Friday, January 8 – until another Notice. 

 


The committee will re-evaluate the epidemiological data next week and then propose a date for the safety and comprehensive physical reopening of grades 7-12. The ministry added that at the same time, as of Friday, January 8, teachers in kindergartens and elementary schools will serve in schools. 

 

In addition, in the next few days there will be an announcement about the reduction of the 12th grade school year curriculum, which will affect the amount of materials used by the students at the end of the school year, so that they can pass the year. 

 


The Ministry emphasizes that they must participate in the country. University entrance exam.
