Italy begins administering second dose of COVID-19 vaccine

 

Italy has started the second COVID-19 vaccination for the first medical staff in the campaign that began on December 27. 

 


Pfizer announced that it will reduce supplies within a week, which has hit vaccination campaigns in Italy and other parts of Europe. 

 

Italy’s emissions reductions will be about 165,000 less than expected. As a result, with the exception of the six Italian regions, the number of vaccinations in Abruzzo, Basilicata, Marche, Molise, Umbria and Valle d’Aosta has decreased. 

 


According to the WHO, in Italy there have been 2,390,101 Coronavirus Cases, 82,554 deaths, and 1,760,489 recovered.
