UK sees record-high number of European applicants for Settelment Scheme

 

The British authorities have urged European citizens to apply for the European Union settlement plan, and emphasized that by December 31, 2020, about 4.9 people have applied for the plan. 

 


According to SchengenVisaInfo.com, even if the UK is officially outside the EU, the EU Settlement Program provides all EU, EEA and Swiss citizens with the opportunity to continue living in the UK. 

 

The British Home Office statement recalled that the deadline for applying for the EU settlement plan is June 30, 2021. 

 


According to the latest statistics released on January 21, 2021 to December 31, 2020, about 4.9 people have applied for the EU settlement plan in order to be allowed to live in the UK after Brexit.
