Norway allows visits for EU tourists

 

Starting from July 15th, tourists from multiple EU member states will finally be eligible to enter Norwegian territory. The Norwegian government made this decision after consulting with the Institute of Public Health and the Department of Health. 

 


Starting next Wednesday, tourists from the following European countries/regions can visit Norway again for non-essential purposes without first being isolated: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City, regions Blekinge, Kronoberg, and Skåne in Sweden.

 

The government reminds all tourists that they will be subject to the same infection control rules as tourists living in Norway. 

 


The Norwegian authorities also announced that starting Wednesday, July 15, people and other family members who have at least 9 months of relations with countries outside the European/EEA area will be eligible to enter the country to reunite with their loved ones.
