Capri: Song of the Sirens Festival to kick off in September

 

The island of Capriwill hold an international festival of theatre, music, and visual arts called ‘Il Canto delle Sirene’ from September 10 to 20. (The Song of the Sirens).

 

Thanks to a unique combination of natural beauty and creative talent that will brighten the summer nights, the festival hopes to become one of the most prominent events on the Italian cultural landscape.

The Certosa Chiostro Grande, the Caesar Augustus Hotel’s patio, and the Centro Caprense Ignazio Cerio will also host performances.

An acoustic performance will be held within the Blue Grotto for the first time at the festival.

On the island of Procida, the festival will come to a conclusion on September 19 with the world premiere of Moliere’s “Il Malato Immaginario,” starring Emilio Solfrizzi and directed by Guglielmo Ferro, as a precursor to the Procida Capital of Culture 2022 performances.
