Greece: Travelers can fill out PLF form anytime

The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) stated on Thursday that all visitors to Greece can now submit the obligatory Passenger Locator Form (PLF) at any time prior to their flight’s departure, rather than just 24 hours before.

All travelers are reminded that they must complete their PLF before entering Greece, including full information on their place of departure, past stays in other countries, and the location where they will be staying while in Greece. Each family should submit one PLF.

Each passenger will get a personal QR code through email after submitting their PLF form (the QR code will be supplied in a link in the email), which must be shown upon arrival at Greece’s airports, either via mobile phone or printed.

Here is a link to the PLF.

It should be emphasized that completing the PLF is a requirement for all passengers, regardless of country.

Passengers from other countries must also have one of the following documents in order to enter Greece:

1. a vaccination certificate showing that Covid-19 has been fully vaccinated for 14 days.

2. a negative PCR test within 72 hours of departure or a negative fast antigen test within 48 hours of departure

3. a certificate of recovery Travelers can provide a medical/recovery certificate that was issued thirty days after their first Covid-19 positive test (the certificate is valid for entry to Greece 180 days after its issue date).

4. an EU Digital COVID Certificate in digital or printed form, containing information on whether travellers have been vaccinated against Covid-19, or have a negative PCR test or a negative fast test done within 72 hours of travel, or have recovered from the virus.

Regardless of the certificate in their hands, every visitor arriving in Greece may be subjected to a random health check (depending on the data provided on the PLF forms).
