Poland: Which covid-19 vaccines are accepted

Poland, like the rest of the European Union and Schengen Area, has opted to open its borders to travelers with the EU Digital COVID-19 Certificate.

According to a press statement released by the Polish government reveals that the nation only recognizes vaccines that have been licensed for use by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

As a result, only the vaccines listed below are accepted as valid proof of immunisation in Poland: Pfizer/BioNTech (Comirnaty) AstraZeneca EU (Vaxzevria) Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) Moderna (Spikevax).

According to the same press release, a person is considered fully vaccinated only if at least 14 days have passed since the last vaccine dose. Furthermore, the vaccine must be supplied in Polish or English and issued in accordance with the EU Digital COVID-19 Certificate.
