Greece: Significant increase in passenger volumes compared to last year

 

Greek tourism marked another successful month, as the number of passengers welcomed and flights operated in October increased further, authorities said.

This means that compared to the corresponding season of 2020, the number of passengers has increased by 69%, reaching 18,967,841. In addition, the number of flights also increased from 232,442 in the first 10 months of 2020 to 339,187 this year, an increase of 45.9%.

In particular, 1,683,723 international passengers were registered during October of this year, an increase of about 126.9 percent compared to the same month of 2020.
