Spain and France are among the safest EU nations to visit, according to the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), which has been reporting low infection rates for several weeks.
According to ECDC’s most current weekly data, the bulk of the nations stated above have identified less than 50 Coronavirus infection cases per 100,000 people, with a test positivity rate of less than 4% in the last two weeks.
As a result, all of the following regions have been assigned a green color:
Regions of France: Bretagne, Normandie, Hauts-de-France, Grand Est, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Centre-Val de Loire, Nouvelle-Aquitaine
Regions of Spain: Galicia, Asturias, Castille and Leon, Extremadura, Andalusia, La Rioja, Navarre, Murcia, Valencia
This indicates that tourists are no longer discouraged from visiting or departing from the nations, particularly the places specified above, because the risk of infection is low.
This is great news for everyone, especially those planning trips during the fall and winter vacations, because it means they won’t have to observe any entrance restrictions when they come home as long as these regions remain on the safe list.
Furthermore, any tourist who can demonstrate that they have been completely vaccinated against the virus or have recovered from it is exempt from the testing and self-isolation requirements. In other situations, however, they may be required to complete additional conditions, such as completing an admission form.
The countries’ excellent immunization initiatives are one of the key reasons why most areas of Spain and France have been placed on the green list. Furthermore, the obligation to carry a COVID-19 health permit when visiting various locations has played an important role in improving the epidemiologic condition.Enjoyed this post?
