If unvaccinated travelers test negative on the first day of their arrival in Estonia and give a second negative COVID-19 test result on the seventh day of the quarantine, the quarantine time can be shortened.
The three European Union member states were previously on the yellow list, but after registering more than 200 virus cases per 100,000 people in the last 14 days, they were moved to the red list.
To be recognized in Estonia, a vaccination certificate must state that the holder has received one of the vaccine doses authorised for use by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) – AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Moderna (Spikevax), BioNTech/Pfizer (Comirnaty), Johnson & Johnson (Janssen).
Travelers who have a recovery certificate, which proves that they have had the disease in the last 180 days, are also free from the testing and quarantine requirements.
