The Minister of Health Roberto Speranza is preparing to sign an order to force people from another EU country to be tested for COVID-19 before they leave and to stay in quarantine for five days upon arrival, and then do another test.
People arriving in Italy from non-EU countries already have to go into quarantine. Italian hoteliers are dissatisfied that after months of strict restrictions and bans on travel between regions, their customers have been deprived of their customers.
People are allowed to travel to some foreign countries during
Easter, even if the country itself will be in “Red” status.
