The current number of Covid-19 patients intubated in Greece has reached 645, an increase of 15 from the number recorded the day before.
There were 53,606 coronavirus tests nationwide that day, bringing the positive rate in Greece to 5.73%. Yesterday, Wednesday, the positive rate was 5.44%.
Sadly, in the past 24 hours, 45 people with the coronavirus have died in the country, 14 fewer than those who died of the virus on Wednesday.
As Greece’s hospitals are in a difficult period, Greece has called on private sector doctors to volunteer to help the country’s public health system (ESY).
Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias called on pathologists, general practitioners, lung specialists and anesthesiologists in the private sector to volunteer.
