Economy Minister Wang Mei hua said on Thursday that Taiwan has sought German help to provide the COVID-19 vaccine.
Wang told reporters that she made the request during a meeting with the de facto German ambassador to Taipei, who handed her a letter asking for help to solve the shortage problem, which hindered the recovery of European countries from the pandemic.
Wang said at the meeting on Wednesday that she told the head of the German delegation in Taipei that she hoped that Germany could “assistance Taiwan to obtain vaccines within a feasible range.”
