Greece: Restaurants not to open on New Year’s Eve

 

The General Secretariat of Commerce and Consumer Protection under the Ministry of Development said that hotel restaurants cannot be opened on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day. 


 

The announcement stated that the hotel will only be allowed to provide room service to guests in its rooms.

It added that the relevant ministerial-level joint decision will be issued in the next few days. 

 


 

According to the World Health Organization, in Greece, from Jan 3 to 9:40am CET, 28 December 2020, there have been 135,114 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 4,553 deaths.
