Spain: The updated list of Covid-19 high-risk countries

The Spanish government has updated its list of high-risk countries/regions, from which travelers need to undergo a negative PCR test to enter Spain between December 28 and January 10. 

 

Starting from November 23, passengers travelling to Spain by air or sea from certain areas where Covid-19 is prevalent must provide evidence of a negative test within 72 hours before arrival. 


 

According to the guidelines in Council Recommendation (EU) 2020/1475, the European Union and European Economic Area countries/regions are designated as “high risk”, which takes into account the color-coded Covid-19 map of the European region of ECDC, and the third country depends on The number of cases per 100,000 over 150 residents in 14 days. Check these numbers every 15 days.

Earlier this week, Spain announced its decision to ban travel from the United Kingdom on December 22, and only allowed Spain after Prime Minister Boris Johnson reminded other countries that there is a highly infectious Covid-19 strain Citizens or residents return. United Kingdom.
