Italy: half of Italians will go on vacation


According to a survey by Demoskopika of post-COVID tourists, although only 5.5% of people have already booked, this year will have one in two Italians on vacation.

Sicily, Tuscany, and Puglia are the top destinations for 51% of Italians, 92.3% of whom will spend their holidays in Italy, and only 7.8% of them will travel abroad.

The survey said that among those who would not go on vacation, 25% were afraid and 16% could not afford it, adding that self-employed, factory workers and unemployed were the most affected.
