Lagos : New Culture Activities in Autumn

The Câmara Municipal de Lagos has prepared various activities aimed at bringing people to the outdoors during the autumn months.

In November, the third “Walk and Art Festival-Barão de São João” Art Festival will be held from November 6th to 8th, and the 4th Algarve Ultra Trail (ALUT) will be held from November 26th to 29th.

Promoting outdoor activities, contacting nature and culture, and fighting against seasonality and desertification in low-density areas are the focus of the project.

Walking Art Festival is a walking art festival that has been held in Barão de São João for three years. Incorporated into the Algarve walking season-there are two other similar activities. Thanks to the participation of the art world and environmental education, this activity is highly creative.

The ALUT organized by Algarve Trail Running starts in Alcoutim and ends in Vila do Bispo. The route is more than 300 kilometers long and mainly runs along Via Algarviana. The time limit for crossing the finish line is 72 hours. The route through Lagos City will be carried out between 7:00 pm on the 27th and 4:00 am on the 28th, and a “life base” (support base) will be installed on the route.
