Greek government spokesman Stelios Petsas announced that travelers coming to Greece from abroad must self-quarantine for 10 days.
The quarantine requirement will take effect from December 18 (Friday) and will remain in effect until January 7, 2021 (Thursday).
Self-isolation will include any Greek student returning from abroad for vacation, or anyone traveling for business or other reasons.
It was also announced that the validity period of the blockade 2.0 will be extended to January 7, 2021.
Schools, courts, restaurants, bars, cafes, entertainment, and sports facilities will be closed before that date. In addition, Petsas said that travel between the Greek states will not be allowed until 6 a.m. on January 7, 2021.
