According to a note from the parliamentarian’s office in charge of social rights, the latest statistics of Manuel Grilo, an entity involved in the response to the homeless population in the city of Lisbon, show that “there are 356 homeless People (living on the street)”.
Most homeless people are men, 309 and 46 are women. In the data released by the municipality, the gender of one of them seems to be identified as “other.”
According to published data, the average age of the homeless is 47 years old, of which 356 years old, half of them (146) are between 46 and 60 years old, and 112 years old are between 31 and 45 years old.
One of the homeless is over 81 years old, and six are between 71 and 80 years old. Forty homeless people were between 20 and 30 years old, 112 were between 31 and 45 years old, and one of them was over 18 and under 20. Unable to determine the age of 11 years old.
