Spain: travel restrictions in the region of Murcia lifted

The Covid Oversight Committee lifted restrictions on travel between cities in the region of Murcia except Los Alcázares and Torre Pacheco.

Unfortunately, due to the high number of coronavirus cases, residents must stay within the urban borders of these two places for another week.

However, the bars and restaurants of Torre Pacheco and Los Alcázares will be allowed to reopen their external terraces to reach 75% of their capacity, but may not currently serve food or drinks inside.

Now, in all remaining municipalities, residents can move between the internal boundaries of the area.

However, the outer borders of the Murcia region will remain closed, allowing entry and exit only for basic reasons.

These do not include jumping to golf or shopping in the province of Alicante. Pick-up and drop-off at the airport is allowed, but it is strongly recommended to print out the document as a reason for the journey.
