British leisure travel group Jet2 announced that it will operate flights to Athens and city holidays for the first time-starting in April 2022, the company’s three UK bases will begin operations.
The company’s leisure airline Jet2.com and city interruption provider Jet2CityBreaks started selling flights to Athens and city holidays from Birmingham (exclusive routes), Manchester and London Stansted Airport, from April 2022 to the present. Each base provides services twice a week at the end of October.
According to the company’s announcement, the immediate reaction of British holidaymakers was to introduce flights and city breaks, which also allowed Greeks to enter London, Manchester and northwest England, as well as Birmingham and the central region.
