Portugal: All regions in yellow zones until Wednesday

According to the country’s meteorological agency IPMA, due to the continued low minimum temperature, all areas of the Portuguese mainland have been in a yellow warning state from Monday to Wednesday. The yellow notification will be valid until 12 pm. on Wednesday. 

 

On Monday, the minimum temperature will fluctuate between -3 degrees Celsius in Bragança and Guarda and 3 degrees Celsius in Faro and Lisbon. The maximum temperature varies between 3 degrees in Guarda and 14 degrees in Faro. According to IPMA, whenever certain activities are at risk, a yellow warning will be issued based on weather conditions.

he institute expects that, in addition to the continuous cold weather, Monday will be clear over the mainland, with clear weather, freezing or frost, especially internal ice, a slight drop in the minimum temperature in the northern and central coastal areas, and a rise in the northern hemisphere . The largest in the Algarve.

The forecast also pointed out that the north/northeast winds are weak or moderate, sometimes strong northeast winds in highlands, and wind gusts up to 80 kilometers per hour until the end of the morning.
