The restrictions on New Year’s celebrations in Portugal will now be restored to emergency measures taken before the holidays.
The inter-county circulation ban, which took effect at 00.00 on December 31, ended at Monday 5 am, but in areas with the highest risk of spreading Covid-19, mandatory curfews are still imposed.
The restrictions imposed on New Year’s celebrations nationwide will now be revert back to emergency measures taken before the holiday.
The current state of emergency took effect on December 24 and lasted until Thursday.
