Austrian Airlines announced on Wednesday that by the summer of 2021, many Greek destinations will proceed as planned and the frequency of flights will increase.
Austrian Airlines CCO Michael Trestl said: “We expect the summer tourism demand will increase, so from July, our offer for resorts will increase by 20%.”
According to the company’s announcement, the airline’s main focus will continue to be on Greece and Cyprus, but Italy, Spain and Turkey will also proceed as planned in the summer of 2021.
Regarding Greece, Austria’s flagship airline announced that there will be up to 10 flights to Heraklion, Crete every week, and will increase the frequency of flights to Rhodes, Mykonos and Kos Islands.
In addition, the airline plans to provide up to 16 flights to Larnaca, Cyprus in midsummer, and its flight schedule will also include other destinations, such as Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Catania And the Canary Islands.
