Spain will reopen to vaccinated visitors from every destination on June 7.
From next month, all travelers who have been completely inoculated with an authorised Covid-19 vaccine, regardless of their country of origin, will be able to visit Spain.
“This summer, we can comfortably welcome all tourists who want Spain as their vacation destination,” said Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez at the MadridInternational Tourism Fair.
Spain is taking the first steps toward reopening its borders to non-EU visitors. Visitors from ten low-risk nations, including the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, will be able to travel to the country without having to take a PCR exam starting Monday 24th May.
Travellers must be completely vaccinated at least 14 days prior to their arrival in the region. Vaccines must be approved by the European Medicines Agency or be on the World Health Organization’s registry of emergency vaccines.
Evidence of vaccines may be approved in the form of printed certificates in Spanish or English. Unvaccinated minors accompanied by a parent or guardian can reach Spain with a negative PCR test taken upon entry, and children under the age of six are excluded from all testing.
Tourists from all over the EU and the Schengen Region, as well as from ten designated low-risk countries, are welcome to visit Spain.
