The immunization report issued today states, “Until June 20, 193,648 vaccinations against covid-19 were provided in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.”
On December 31, 2020, the area launched the covid-19 vaccination procedure.
According to Madeira’s health officials, 108,598 vaccinations were provided in the first dosage, while 85,050 vaccines were administered in the second dose.
According to the notice, “this indicates that 34% of the resident population has already finished immunization and 43% has only received a single dose of vaccine.”
“11,596 vaccinations were provided in the past week, of which 3,499 were first doses and 8,097 were second doses,” according to the report.
The vaccine campaign will continue throughout the area this week, including in Porto Santo, with vaccinations set for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, according to the notice.
