Britain, Portugal, Russia, India, and Nepal have been reduced from the highest danger category of “regions of particular concern” to “high-incidence areas,” according to the Robert Koch Institute, Germany’s public health ministry.
Travelers from certain nations can now escape obligatory quarantine if they can provide proof of receiving the COVID-19 vaccination, but those who have not got the vaccine must undergo a 10-day quarantine. If a person tests negative for COVID-19, the quarantine time might be reduced to five days.
Officials in Luxembourg stated Monday that Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, who contracted COVID-19, is in a severe but stable condition and will be hospitalized for the time being.
Following a two-day EU meeting in Brussels, Bettel was taken to the hospital on Sunday after testing positive for the virus.
