The Greek authorities have declared that all unvaccinated visitors traveling from Egypt, Albania, Argentina, Brazil, Georgia, Cuba, the United Arab Emirates, India, China, Libya, Morocco, Russia, and Turkey, regardless of nationality, must be tested upon arrival.
The Greek Aviation Authority (CAA) has also warned that the entrance prohibition for incoming foreign planes would be extended until August 27 in an effort to stop the spread of the Coronavirus, according to a press statement.
Furthermore, the NOTAM for inbound international aircraft, which is valid until Friday, includes the following: Third-country nationals are not allowed to enter the country, even their wives or those with whom they have engaged into a cohabitation arrangement.
Permission for passengers traveling for essential reasons and permanent residents of Australia, Northern Macedonia, the United Arab Emirates, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Israel, Canada, Belarus, Bahrain, New Zealand, South Korea, Qatar, China, Kuwait, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Montenegro, Albania, Japan, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Jordan, Moldova, Brunei, San Marino, Andorra,, Monaco, Vatican, Turkey and Kosovo.
Before boarding a trip to Greece, all passengers, regardless of country, must complete an electronic form called the Passenger Locator Form (PLF). The traveler receives an e-mail with the completed PLF form, which is considered an essential travel document.

Passengers from other countries must also have one of the following documents in order to enter Greece:
1. a vaccination certificate showing that Covid-19 has been fully vaccinated for 14 days.
2. a negative PCR test within 72 hours of departure or a negative fast antigen test within 48 hours of departure
3. a certificate of recovery Travelers can provide a medical/recovery certificate that was issued thirty days after their first Covid-19 positive test (the certificate is valid for entry to Greece 180 days after its issue date).
4. an EU Digital COVID Certificate in digital or printed form, containing information on whether travellers have been vaccinated against Covid-19, or have a negative PCR test or a negative fast test done within 72 hours of travel, or have recovered from the virus.
