Furthermore, 14 days must have elapsed since the last immunization (for two-dose vaccines) and 22 days must have gone since the last single-shot vaccine (Janssen) was given. As a result, the two-shot vaccine has a 360-day validity period, whereas the single-shot vaccine has a 270-day validity period.
US citizens who have recovered from Coronavirus will be allowed to enter Austria if they can show they have recovered in the last 180 days or have a positive COVID-19 antibody test that is less than 90 days old.
Unvaccinated Americans, on the other hand, must provide a completed entry registration form, a COVID detection test, and a ten-day entry quarantine upon arrival.
The molecular-biological test (PCR), which must be taken no earlier than 72 hours before arrival, and the antigen testing (rapid), which must be performed no later than 48 hours before entering the country, are accepted by Austrian authorities.
The traveller’s entire name, birthdate, test date and time, QR unique code, and signature from the competent authority for testing must all be included on the test result proof.
