The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) announced on Friday that all of Greece‘s Covid-19 travel requirements for international flights and passengers had been extended.
The regulations, which have been extended until October 22, are part of the HCAA’s Covid-19 aviation directives (NOTAMs), which govern international flights and arrivals in Greece.

In summary, passengers from the EU and Schengen Zone, as well as those going for “essential reasons” and passengers from 36 non-EU countries and territories, are permitted to enter.

Unvaccinated travelers from certain countries must have an obligatory Covid-19 fast test when they arrive in Greece.

Greece welcomes visitors from all EU and Schengen Area nations, but does not accept visitors from outside the EU.
People traveling for medical reasons and visitors from the following 36 non-EU countries and territories, on the other hand, are permitted to enter Greece – providing they have the necessary papers – without being subjected to self-isolation:
Australia, Northern Macedonia, United States of America, United Kingdom, Israel, Canada, Belarus, New Zealand, South Korea, China, Kuwait, Ukraine, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Japan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova, Brunei, San Marino, Andorra, the Vatican, Monaco, Turkey, Kosovo and Chinese Taipei. Passengers who have completed the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) at any point prior to their flight’s departure will be admitted to Greece. The PLF is a legal requirement that must be completed by all travelers, regardless of nationality. Here is a link to the PLF.
Passengers from outside the United States must additionally have one of the following:
1. a vaccination certificate
2. a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours before travel or a negative rapid antigen test performed within 48 hours before travel.

4. an EU Digital COVID Certificate in digital or printed form, containing information on whether travellers have been vaccinated against Covid-19, or have a negative PCR test or a negative fast test completed within 72 hours of travel, or have recovered from the virus.
